The following specialists are on staff at our Center:
Chiropractor (DC) – An approach to health which utilizes the body’s inherent and natural recuperative powers. It is a healing science which places emphasis on maintaining structural integrity of the body. It is a method of health care which is conservative and which does not utilize drugs or surgery, by choice.
Medical Physician (MD) – A medical physician specializing in diagnosis and treatment of diseases which effect the internal organs and the musculo-skeletal system.
Pain Management Physician (MD) – A medical physician specializing in management of chronic and acute pain.
Athletic Trainer (AT) – An individual educated in the prevention, recognition, and care of athletic injuries. Areas of specialty include: athletic taping, kinesiology taping, stretching, and injury rehabilitation.
Exercise Physiologist (EP) – A skilled professional, trained in the science of the effects of exercise of health, and non-healthy individuals. This includes the evaluation and recommendation of exercises for strength, flexibility, endurance and coordination and sport specificity.
Massage Therapist (MT) – An individual specialized in the varying types of massage for the treatment of athletic injuries, stress, muscle soreness and tightness and to enhance athletic performance. Soft tissue therapy enhances the function of the joints and muscles which helps to relieve mental and physical fatigue.
Acupuncturist (OMD) – A health care provider that utilizes a combination of acupuncture and herbs to regulate and re-balance the body in order to prevent or alleviate many internal diseases processes, as well as musculo-skeletal problems, stress-related disorders and addictions.
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) – A California certified EMT provides emergency assistance and transportation for an injured or ill patient.
